Process

How a project runs

Six steps from first photo to final install. You always know what happens next.

  1. STEP 1

    Quote

Send photos, measurements or drawings, or call us. We price each piece on its own line, so you can see what everything costs.

  2. STEP 2

    Contract and deposit

You sign the contract online and pay the deposit. That reserves your place in the shop.

  3. STEP 3

    Measure

We come out and measure the room ourselves, so every piece fits the walls you actually have.

  4. STEP 4

    Shop drawings

We draw every piece. You approve the drawings, the wood, the finish and the hardware before anything is cut.

  5. STEP 5

    Build

Everything is made in our Brooklyn shop. You can follow along on your own project page.

  6. STEP 6

    Install

Our crew installs, adjusts and walks the punch list with you until it is right.

Questions

How much does custom millwork cost?

It depends on size, wood and finish. Projects start at $10,000. Send photos and rough sizes and we will price each piece so you can see where the money goes.

How long does it take?

It depends on the size of the job and how busy the shop is. You get a schedule with your contract, and you can follow progress on your project page.

Do you work with my designer or contractor?

Yes. We work with homeowners directly and with architects, designers and general contractors, and we can send shop drawings and insurance certificates to them.

Do you install?

Yes. Our own crew installs everything we build, then walks the punch list with you.

Where do you work?

Across the five boroughs and nearby, residential and commercial.
